Lisa Jackson, the Artist behind Lysa J Makeup Artistry started freelance services in January 2016 under the name of Fanci Face Makeup Artistry.  After taking classes to sharpen her skills, Lisa decided to transition from a makeup enthusiast to a professional makeup artist.  Lisa has always had a passion for makeup.  She would use family members and friends as her canvas to create a natural beauty that only enhanced what God had already created.

In 2013 Lisa started taking classes online with the Robert Jones Beauty Academy to learn more about makeup.  In 2014, Lisa attended a class taught by Nachera "Cherry" Brown and later became a certified artist in 2016 at The Ahmni Makeup Academy.  In 2017, Lisa paired with a Mentor and the rest is history.

 

Lisa loves to share her knowledge of makeup application and techniques with others. School is never out for the pros and she seeks to continuously learn and share. Lisa believes that professionalism should be top notch and seeks to serve all those she encounters with a warm heart and smile. Lisa believes her love for makeup and beauty starts with one canvas at a time.
